You see, whenever we are talking to a person, if there is silence for more than 4 seconds. it is known as awkward silence. It is very humiliating. So, to avoid that situation we need to keep the conversation going.

That's why we are here! To have a non stop conversation with someone and help the person feel good when spending time with us, we need to let the person pour his heart out (I mean express his feelings, point of view on different topics etc.). This can be achieved if you have the conversation on TOPIC of the other person's interest. It's now always necessary that you will have knowledge about other person's interest.
